Our China team, led by partners Ms Li Chung Nam, Mr Rio Lau and Mr Pan Tsang, were honoured to be invited to the Shenzhen Futian Hetao International Mediation Center and the China Commercial Law Firm last Friday (30th June 2023).

Visit at the Hetao International Mediation Center

At the Hetao International Mediation Center, our team held a discussion with representatives of the Center including Helen Zhu, chairlady of the Center, to explore cooperation in cross border alternative dispute resolution and legal services.

Our Ms Li indicated that Robertsons hopes to deepen cooperation with the Center and leverage on the experience and advantages of legal services in Hong Kong and those of the Mainland China to provide cost-effective dispute resolution services to clients, and contribute to the high-quality development of the diversified dispute resolution mechanism in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Both sides also exchanged views on the demand for legal services involving cross border or international disputes. Robertsons looks forward to further cooperation with the Hetao International Mediation Center to jointly promote the development of legal services in the Hetao and the Greater Bay Area.

Hetao International Mediation Center is a non-profit organization supervised by Shenzhen Futian District Bureau of Justice, jointly initiated by China Commercial Law Firm, Guangdong Zhuojian Law Firm, Beijing Yingke (Shenzhen) Law Firm, AllBright Law Offices (Shenzhen), Dentons Shenzhen Office, and Tahota (Shenzhen) Law Firm, and registered under Shenzhen Futian District Bureau of Civil Affairs in April 2022.
