Seminar on Drafting Arbitration Clauses

Robertsons was delighted to hold an internal seminar co-hosted by our Managing Partner, Chris Lambert, and Foreign Legal Consultant, Peter Neumann.

The seminar, “Drafting Arbitration Clauses – The Good, The Bad and The Ugly”, explored a topic that is often underestimated by transactional lawyers but can have significant consequences when disputes arise.

During the session, we discussed the rise of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) in commercial contracts, mandatory requirements and key considerations when advising clients, standard arbitration centre clauses, and how to tailor ADR clauses effectively. Drawing on their extensive experience, Chris and Peter shared practical insights into common drafting pitfalls and best practices.
