On 13th October 2026, Robertsons’ Consultant, Michael Lintern-Smith attended the Law Society of Hong Kong’s Revitalisation and Reopening of Wing On House Premises cum Time Capsule Launch Ceremony.
As one of the Past Presidents in attendance, Michael joined fellow Past Presidents and Council Members of the Law Society and distinguished members of the judiciary, the government and the legal profession in celebration of this significant milestone in the Law Society’s history. The occasion marked the revitalisation of an important part of the Law Society’s heritage, which has not only been preserved but has also been given a renewed and sustainable purpose for the years ahead.
According to the Law Society, “the revitalised Wing On House has been transformed into a modern, multi-functional centre where the profession can resolve, learn and connect. Its flexible facilities can accommodate hearings, arbitration, mediation and negotiation, as well as examinations, training programmes, workshops, seminars, conferences, corporate meetings, networking events and receptions.”
“A memorable and meaningful event of the Ceremony was the launch of the Time Capsule to be opened in 2047, which contains a collection of memorabilia and artefacts that capture the history, achievements and aspirations of the Law Society and Hong Kong’s legal profession.”
