Associate

Katie is an Associate Solicitor in the Private Wealth Department, having joined the firm in 2021. Prior to joining Robertsons, Katie worked at an international law firm for 2 years.

She specialises in private clients practice including wealth, succession planning, wills, probate, estate administration and inheritance law.

She advises both overseas and local private clients on a full range of succession and estate planning matters, including preparation of Wills and Codicils, Powers of Attorney, Enduring Powers of Attorney (EPA) under Enduring Powers of Attorney Ordinance (Cap.501) and Advance Directives (AD).

She acts for executors/administrators in asset investigations, caveat applications, grant of probate and letters of administration applications, foreign grant resealing applications, grant de bonis non applications and administration and distribution of estates with multi-jurisdictional elements.  She works closely with overseas advisors in relation to both overseas and local grant applications. She also speaks on succession-related topics in seminars. 

Katie also advises on employment and immigration matters including applications for employment visas, investment visas, spousal and dependent visas, extension of stay and permanent residency.
