Nicole Hon co-authored article on regulating misuse of AI published in Hong Kong Lawyer

Robertsons’ Associate, Nicole Hon, has co-authored with Dr. Christopher To an article entitled “Regulating the Misuse of Artificial Intelligence (AI): a Reading of Ayinde v London Borough of Haringey, and Al-Haroun [2025] EWHC 1383″ and published in the September 2025 issue of Hong Kong Lawyer.

The article discussed the decision of the United Kingdom Court in two cases, which explicitly cautioned about the risks associated with the misuse of AI, particularly on the ethical and procedural implications of lawyers using AI without proper oversight.

Nicole has a wide-ranging civil and commercial litigation practice including shareholders’ disputes, employment litigation, debt recovery, family law, property disputes and insolvency and restructuring matters. She also has considerable experience in banking litigation and advises clients throughout all stages of litigation, arbitration and mediation. With the rapid development of artificial intelligence, she is actively conducting research on the application of artificial intelligence within the legal landscape.
