Robertsons kicked off its 2025 with an insightful seminar delivered by our Managing Partner, Chris Lambert, on the subject of “New Year’s Resolutions: Tips for Being a Better and More Successful lawyer in 2025”.
 
The session led everyone to revisit the fundamental aspects crucial for being a lawyer navigating the ongoing competitive environment and tough economy. Chris shared soft skills, strategies and tactics developed from his personal experience, joined by participants – regardless of rank – who resonated with him.
 
On the professional development side, the sharing covered effective ways to stay abreast of the latest legal developments, manage time and productivity, cultivate impactful communications, balance clients’ needs and one’s professionalism, leverage technology, and master presentation skills for successful business meetings. On the personal development side, the discussion explored noteworthy approaches to harness individual talents, cope with work-related stress, manage emotions, and develop a critical mindset towards traditional practices. 
 
The seminar ended with the significance of mutual appreciation among colleagues, and started the new year with positivity in the firm.
